Job Description

Come join the staff at OU HSC and become a part of Oklahoma's premier research university, leading the state in education and career opportunities. OU HSC is one of only four comprehensive academic health centers in the nation with seven professional colleges. We are currently building world-class institutes for the treatment of diabetes and cancer.

Duties:
  • Manage all departmental accounts, reconcile monthly, and create cost spending certification reports.
  • Monitor and ensure proper expenditure of funds and correct invoicing.
  • Make cash deposits into special accounts and prepare departmental budgets.
  • Analyze departmental financial procedures and recommend changes.
  • Attend budget meetings and develop strategies for financial management.
  • Oversee overall departmental operations, administration, and performance, including financial analysis, budget and report preparation, and policy development.
  • Create and renew agreements via SoonerTrack, ensuring proper activation in coordination with OMS faculty and CBO.
  • Provide monthly faculty, fellow, and DOC timesheets/invoices for CARS billing, handle cost transfers.
  • Enter requisitions for major events, maintain budget and grant administration, Pcard management, and OU Foundation funds.
  • Perform administrative duties such as ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and assisting with awards and committees.
  • Prepare reports for budget meetings and coordinate special events logistics.
  • Support faculty with purchases, policies, awards, funding requests, and reimbursements.
  • Manage faculty hospital credentialing and ensure licenses are current.
  • Handle travel arrangements and reimbursements, update office manual, and support faculty and staff.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluate personnel; act as payroll coordinator.
  • Manage personnel records, process various forms and reports, and oversee daily financial transactions and adjustments.
  • Develop, implement, and interpret policies ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor schedules, verify charges and payments, and process claims and reports.
  • Input faculty pending notes and process incomplete treatment plans.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or related field.

Equivalency/Substitution: 48 months of related experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Knowledge of office procedures and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
