Job summary

Kwaan Bear IT Solutions (KBITS) seeks an Admin Facilities Manager V to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of government facilities in Patuxent River, MD. The role ensures safety, security, and functionality of the work environment while supporting client services.

Responsibilities include managing daily facilities operations, coordinating maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems, supervising vendors, monitoring budgets, space planning, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in facilities management or related role, with at least 3-5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software preferred.
