Northampton Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Communication Studies, primarily Introduction to Communication courses. The assignments are part-time and can span Human Communication and Public Speaking across multiple sections.

Positions may be available at the Bethlehem, PA campus, the Monroe campus in Tannersville, PA, or online. A Master’s degree or 18 credits in the field is required, with college teaching experience strongly preferred.

Adjuncts - Communication Studies (Speech, Interpersonal, Intercultural, Small Groups)

Summary:

Part-time (3 credits - 9 credits), adjunct faculty teaching positions in Communication Studies. Primarily teaching sections in our basic Introduction to Communication course. This course is split between Human Communication and Public Speaking. Opportunities may be available at the Bethlehem, PA campus, Monroe campus located in Tannersville, PA and/or online.

Qualifications:

Master's degree or 18 credits from a regionally accredited Institution required in Human Communication Studies such as: Persuasion, Interpersonal Communication, Speech Communication, Organizational Communication Studies etc. College teaching experience strongly preferred.

Special Instructions:

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department and the College. If hired, official transcripts will be required from all undergraduate and graduate universities attended and three (3) state/federal background clearances before a contract is issued.
