Job description

Sandhills Community College is seeking applications for a part-time welding instructor to teach daytime and/or evening welding courses starting in August at the Main Campus in Pinehurst. The instructor must demonstrate mastery of current welding technical skills. This position is within the Continuing Education Department and reports to the Coordinator of Advanced Manufacturing. Essential Functions

• Instruct open-enrollment and/or high school level welding courses
• Maintain attendance, grade, and performance records
• Administer and proctor credential and non-credential examinations, and provide reports
• Maintain a safe and clean welding shop space
• Monitor welding supply inventory and notify administrative staff for purchasing needs

• Knowledge and experience with computer software
