Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field with licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Twenty-four (24) months of verifiable occupational experience working in a Substance Use Disorder Counselor role, with 2,000 hours within the previous five years.
• One year of related occupational experience may be waived if the candidate has at least two years of post-secondary teaching experience in early childhood education within five years.
• Ability to attain and maintain a WTCS teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in face-to-face hybrid or online formats.
• Integrate technology into teaching of course material.
• Collaborate with lead faculty to support student learning and program goals.
• Mentor emerging professionals and help strengthen the SUD counseling and human services workforce.
