Overview
Husson University is looking for a well-qualified and experienced student-oriented Spanish instructor to add to our introductory level offerings. Both traditional and online course delivery methods may be involved.
Responsibilities
- Normal duties associated with teaching a college language course.
- Work cooperatively with faculty, following common guidelines for course content and outcomes.
- Show appreciation for the place of language education within professional curricula, aligned with Husson University's professions-oriented mission.
Qualifications
- MA in Spanish or closely related field.
- Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred.
- Experience in online language teaching and familiarity with Canvas preferred.
Compensation
- Undergraduate Course – Masters Prepared: $933.33 per credit hour (maximum)
- Undergraduate Course – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,016.67 per credit hour (maximum)
- Graduate Course – Masters Level Prepared: $1,016.67 per credit hour (maximum)
- Graduate Course – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,100.00 per credit hour (maximum)
- Lab Sections Undergraduate – Masters Prepared: $1,150.00 per credit hour
- Lab Sections Undergraduate – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,250.00 per credit hour
- Rate is dependent on the number of students enrolled.
