Essential Functions, Primary Responsibilities And Objectives

Adjunct faculty are part-time faculty hired to teach a specified course/s on a semester basis.

Essential Functions

• Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in a classroom and/or laboratory setting.
• Thoroughly prepares and teaches all course materials.
• Provides support and guidance to students to optimize learning outcomes.
• Completes and maintains all required documentation and records, including, but not limited to, grades, requisitions, rosters.
• Completes, reports and maintains grades in a timely manner.
• Fosters a professional classroom environment conducive to learning.
• All other duties as required by the Dean.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, including a minimum of 18 credits in Science.
• Master’s degree preferred.
