Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• ARRT certification and registration or equivalent license in radiography.
• Appropriate NY licensure to practice in New York State.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present course material; establish objectives; select texts; prepare, administer, and grade assessments; assign grades.
• Provide current course materials aligned with curriculum; ensure comprehension and competency; provide unbiased outcome assessments.
• Encourage participation, maintain professional rapport, and support student success.
• Motivate, challenge, and engage students; demonstrate enthusiasm for knowledge.
• Advise and counsel students regarding coursework and professional development.
• Participate in accreditation and assessment processes.
• Support program operations and director in curriculum development and policy enforcement.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities related to teaching and radiologic technology.
• Participate in departmental, program, college, and professional meetings.
