MIU City University Miami invites applications for a full-time teaching position in the Educational Department. The role involves organizing and delivering courses online and on-site, reviewing syllabi, and promoting interactive, rigorous learning for a diverse, international student body.

You will mentor students via video conference, respond promptly to forums, and participate in faculty meetings while pursuing ongoing professional development. Campus and online delivery options are available.

Qualifications

• Verifiable last level of study, PhD.
• Ability to organize and deliver assigned courses to promote student success while maintaining academic rigor.
• Able to review and improve the syllabus of assigned courses.
• Be willing to deliver all requested educational materials to the Department of Faculty Management in a timely manner.
• Ability to promote and facilitate interaction ensuring collaborative learning.
• Ability to motivate and guide students in class and respond to forums in a timely manner.
• Assumes responsibility for tracking and assessing student learning, achievement of course objectives and providing feedback.
• Assumes responsibility for attending assigned classes by being present 15 minutes prior to the start of class and responding to any questions or needs.
• Be willing to attend faculty meetings, official functions and perform other duties as may be required by the administration as appropriate to the instructor position.
• Interest in participating in professional development events and reporting progress to the HR Department.
• Positive attitude to tutor and mentor students in their office or via video conference when requested.
• Willingness to perform additional duties useful to teaching performance.
