We are seeking candidates who meet the required qualifications and are capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities.

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing and delivering coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways, reflecting the college's core values, culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meet professional standards for faculty according to college policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher in any discipline and current certification/licensure as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from PTCB or NHA, OR
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in pharmacy and a current license to practice as a pharmacist in Texas.

Teaching experience is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses as per the schedule and approved syllabi, which may include on-campus, off-site, evening, and weekend classes.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.
Supplemental Functions:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to college policies, procedures, and core values.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Primarily sedentary work, involving sitting most of the time, with occasional standing, walking, and physical activities. Office environment with minimal hazards.
