Adjunct Professor – Nutrition, Microbiology, and Pathology (Remote)

Curatio Management Group is seeking this position for a subsidiary startup medical college in Chantilly, Virginia with a tentative start in the Spring Semester of 2026.

Location: Remote

Start Date: Classes are expected to begin in Spring 2026. Faculty onboarding and academic planning will begin in October 2025.

Status: Part-Time | Adjunct Faculty

Reports To: Dean of General Education

About Us

Curatio Management Group is actively establishing a new post-secondary medical institute focused on healthcare education and licensure preparation. As part of our curriculum development, we are seeking qualified adjunct professors to teach general education and health science courses online to future healthcare professionals.

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced and dedicated Adjunct Professor to teach the following courses:

• Introduction to Nutrition
• Microbiology
• Pathology

These courses are part of the foundational curriculum supporting nursing and allied health programs. Instruction will be delivered online through Canvas, with both asynchronous content and periodic synchronous engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in assigned subject(s)
• Develop and/or enhance course content, assessments, and instructional materials
• Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain student records in accordance with institutional policies
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and academic leadership
• Participate in occasional faculty meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Nutrition, Microbiology, Biology, Pathology, or a related field
• Prior teaching experience at the college level (online experience preferred)
• Strong communication and digital instructional skills
• Familiarity with Canvas LMS or willingness to be trained
• Commitment to student success and academic integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching to a diverse student population, including ESL students
• Knowledge of SCHEV or post-secondary accreditation requirements
• Ability to contribute to course design and continuous improvement

• Pay Rate: $950–$1,500 per credit hour (based on overall education background, teaching experience, and course as
