Seton Hall University seeks applicants for adjunct professor positions in Arabic, Chinese, Classics-Greek-Latin, French, German, italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. The positions are in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures within the College of Arts and Sciences. Candidates should have a Master's degree or higher and experience teaching languages. Teaching loads are one to two courses per semester at the elementary, intermediate, or Advanced levels. All classes are taught in person.
Specific duties and schedule depend on the course. Most courses meet twice a week with one to two office hours. Adjunct faculty also have the opportunity to provide some paid hours of tutoring each week.
Minimum pay is $1230 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1332.50 per credit for those with a terminal degree.
