The Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver seeks to hire adjunct faculty from an applicant pool for the 2026-27 academic year.

Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate and graduate courses across programs such as Global Economic Affairs, Global Environmental Sustainability, Human Rights, International Development, International Security, International Studies, and Public Policy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or ABD in a relevant field.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching for diverse populations.
• Experience with Canvas or similar course management software.
• Willingness to teach face-to-face in Denver.

Responsibilities

• Teach 10-week courses on campus for undergraduate/graduate levels.
• Hold weekly office hours on campus or via Zoom.
• Assign and grade papers and exams as appropriate.
• Be available to assist students with course requirements; adapt to online or hybrid delivery when needed.
