Job summary

The University of Denver seeks adjunct faculty for the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for the 2026/27 academic year. Instructors may teach across programs in Global Economic Affairs, Global Environmental Sustainability, Human Rights, and more.

Courses may include 10-week formats with campus delivery, occasional online options, and varying weekly contact hours.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or ABD in a relevant field.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching methods.
• Experience with Canvas or similar LMS and Zoom.
• Availability to teach face-to-face in classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach a 10-week course on campus with two weekly sessions (110 min each) for undergraduates.
• Teach graduate courses in 10-week sessions (170 minutes weekly) and hold weekly office hours, on campus or via Zoom.
• Assign and evaluate papers and exams; assist students with course requirements.
• Adapt to alternate scheduling and online delivery modalities when needed.
