The Adjunct Professor in Education delivers high‑quality undergraduate and graduate instruction that bridges theory and professional practice, supporting adult learners through equity‑centered, constructivist, and trauma‑informed pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Education and Special Education courses.
• Engage adult learners through inclusive pedagogy.
• Assess student learning and maintain records.
• Foster respectful and supportive learning environments.
• Communicate professionally with students and academic leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in Education.
• Knowledge of educational theory, curriculum development, and effective teaching practices in higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in an online format using a Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas).

• Doctorate in Education or related field.
• Publications or research in Education.
• Proficiency in Canvas LMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and online teaching tools.

Anticipated Salary

$25.00 to $28.00 per hour
