The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics invites an adjunct faculty member to deliver high-quality learning experiences for the BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Echocardiography. The role includes teaching Classroom and Distance Education to Worcester-area Undergraduate courses, covering Echocardiography Physics and Instrumentation.

Qualifications

BS or BA minimum degree; Masters preferred.
ARDMS certification in echocardiography or equivalent.
Commitment to undergraduate/graduate education and student success.
Some college/university teaching experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deliver laboratory education in-person for advanced Cardiac Sonography applications.
Integrate echocardiography theory with practical imaging.
Provide syllabus with objectives, outcomes, assessments and timelines.
Create engaging assignments showing real-world concepts.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in curriculum.
Use the LMS to post materials and communicate with students.
Advise students via office hours, videoconference, or email.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Provide mentoring, course development, and ongoing assessment.
