Job summary

The School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics at MCPHS seeks an adjunct faculty member to deliver high quality learning experiences for students in the BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Echocardiography. The candidate will teach Classroom and Distance Education for Worcester courses and undergraduate programs, covering Echocardiography Physics and Instrumentation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA minimum degree requirement; Masters preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of work experience in clinical echocardiography.
• Some teaching experience at the college/university level preferred.
• ARDMS certification in echocardiography or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and distance education for Worcester courses to Undergraduate.
• Teach Laboratory education in-person for advanced Cardiac Sonography applications.
• Integrate echocardiography theory with imaging practice and applications.
• Provide syllabus with objectives, outcomes, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Advise students via office hours, videoconference, phone, or email and mentor students.
