California Lutheran University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty Member to provide academic instruction for undergraduate and/or graduate courses. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with diverse student populations, including African American, Latinx, and Native American students.
Prior experience in a teaching role and possession of a Master’s degree are required. The position encourages applicants from all backgrounds and offers a supportive educational environment.

Under the direction of the Dean, Department Chair or Program Director, the Adjunct Faculty Member is responsible for providing academic instruction to students for the assigned undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; speaking to exchange information, provide instruction and make presentations; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; pushing, pulling or lifting light objects; bending and reaching to store and/or retrieve files. Indoor classroom environment; subject to visiting a variety of classroom sites on campus.
