Job summary

Ogeechee Technical College in Georgia seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Physics to provide General Education Physics instruction. The candidate will prepare weekly planners aligned with course outcomes and ensure effective communication, syllabus readiness, and LMS management.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in Physics (or equivalent with 18 graduate hours), strong communication, and at least three years teaching or industry experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Physics is required.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills are essential.
• Three years experience teaching or working in the field is required.
• M.Ed. in a discipline may not qualify the faculty to teach in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a weekly planner for learning activities aligned with course outcomes.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication and current procedures in course content.
• Review and finalize the course syllabus and LMS (Blackboard) for student learning.
• Evaluate students’ progress toward learning outcomes and maintain documentation.
• Teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online) as needed.
