Job Description

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Literature or English, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in English, literature, technical writing, rhetoric, or composition. Courses in journalism with an emphasis on writing may also be considered.
  • Education must be received from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Two years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Commitment to providing instruction for a diverse student population.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods relevant to pedagogy.
  • High level of technical skills and subject matter expertise in the discipline.
  • Evidence of initiative, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
