Job summary

Southeast Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program (2026-2027) on a part-time basis. The role involves delivering instruction across multiple settings (face-to-face, online, lab, and clinical) and may include coordinating courses.

The instructor will develop syllabi aligned with the curriculum and SCC policies. The position is part-time temporary, with schedule flexibility and possible assignment across campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• Licensed and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Nebraska.
• Two (2) years of experience working in the profession.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is desirable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students according to the objectives of each course assigned in various modalities (face-to-face, online, hybrid, or lab).
• Prepare and administer evaluation instruments and maintain accurate student records on attendance, achievement, and progress.
• Increase and improve personal teaching knowledge through professional development activities and updates.
• Support an inclusive environment where all students and staff feel welcomed and valued.
• Perform other duties as assigned and accommodate varied schedules/locations as needed.
