Hanover College invites applications for an Associated (Adjunct) Faculty position in the Hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program in Hanover, Indiana. Adjunct faculty are appointed each semester to support course delivery and assessment for distance education and onsite labs.

Responsibilities include assisting full-time faculty, enriching discussions, providing timely feedback, supporting immersive labs, and ensuring teaching adheres to accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Indiana license and licensure eligibility.
• Proficiency with Canvas, Zoom, and online learning tools.
• Ability to handle a wide range of responsibilities in the OTD Program.
• Commitment to building a culturally diverse educational environment.
• Collaboration with faculty and program leadership to ensure course objectives are met.
• Adherence to the core values and ethics of the occupational therapy profession.
• Must have reliable transportation and/or be eligible to be an authorized Hanover College driver.

Responsibilities

• Assist the primary faculty in delivering course content.
• Contribute to and enrich synchronous class discussions as available and deemed appropriate by the primary faculty.
• Provide graded feedback on all appropriate course assignments in accordance with established rubrics or grading guidelines.
• Provide instruction during immersive lab sessions to support the development of skills, knowledge, and clinical reasoning, as deemed appropriate by the primary faculty.
• Provide graded feedback on immersive lab practical examinations or skills check assessments in accordance with established rubrics or grading guidelines.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, including students, administration, faculty, and staff.
• Maintain intellectual integrity and strive for academic excellence in teaching.
• Ensure all teaching and educational responsibilities comply with accreditation policies and procedures.
