Job summary

Olympic College invites qualified applicants to join the adjunct faculty pool for the Organizational Leadership and Technical Management program. Instructors may teach in person, online, or hybrid formats and should be prepared to handle course development, grading, and record-keeping in a timely manner.

Compensation is per credit hour, and positions are open on a quarterly basis with continued review. Applicants should be authorized to work in the United States and reside near campus as

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership or a related field.
• Documented professional practice or academic expertise related to leadership and management.
• Proficient with the technology necessary to teach online or partially online courses and the ability to learn and use instructional technology such as Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality teaching, including preparation and grading in accordance with the college catalog and course outlines.
• Provide class syllabi to students and division office.
• Maintain and provide accurate course and student records in a timely manner.
• Teach day and/or evening classes in face-to-face, online, or hybrid/hyflex formats.
• Maintain clear and punctual communication with students, faculty and staff.
• Identify learning needs and adjust learning environments accordingly.
• Contribute to the development and assessment of student learning outcomes.
