Salt Lake Community College (UT) invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach introductory Occupational Therapy Assistant courses. Courses may be in-person, online, or via Concurrent Enrollment at partnering high schools.
This is a pooled, semester-by-semester adjunct position with no guaranteed continued employment. Qualified candidates will hold an OTA/OT license in Utah, be nationally certified, and have teaching experience or clinical exposure.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) programs at SLCC offer introductory courses into the fields of Occupational and Physical therapy. We are looking for a faculty to teach these intro courses. Classes may be taught in person, online, or through Concurrent Enrollment off site at partnering High Schools.
This is a pooled position. The department reviews applications as positions become available. This position is paid at $1,056 per instructional unit.1) In accordance with SLCC policy, adjunct positions are offered on a semester-by-semester basis with no guarantee of continued employment.
2) Official transcripts are required for those who are offered employment within 30 days of hire.
All Faculty will maintain an on-site campus presence to encourage in-person relationships and create engaging, meaningful, and impactful learning experiences unless approved for on-line only courses.
You are employed as an Adjunct Faculty member/ Instructor on a contract-to-contract basis, with no future expectation or obligation for employment.
