Job summary
Amergis is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) with an MSN for a Clinical Lab Instructor adjunct role in the Atlanta area (Smyrna/Sandy Springs). The position involves supervising and teaching nursing students during clinical placements and helping them achieve course objectives.
A master’s degree (or state-appropriate alternative), an active RN license, CPR if applicable, and health prerequisites are required.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred (or Bachelor’s for states with lower requirements)
- Current RN license for the practicing state
- Current CPR certification if applicable
- TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old

Anticipated start 8/24/2026 (10 week assignment)
Pay $62.00/ HR
Under the direction of the Dean or Assistant Dean, the Adjunct Nursing Faculty (RN) is responsible for the supervision and teaching of students during the clinical placement portion of nursing courses and for assisting the student in achieving clinical course objectives. Service to the college, community, health system, and profession are integral aspects of the Adjunct Nursing Faculty (RN) role.
Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred except in states where minimum requirement for a clinical instructor is a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
