Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an experienced Nursing Adjunct Faculty to support student achievement in our accelerated BSN program. You will teach and evaluate students in clinical settings, labs, simulations, and didactic courses as opportunities arise.

Responsibilities include creating an engaging learning environment, assessing learning and providing timely feedback, collaborating with Course Lead Faculty, maintaining FERPA-compliant records, and communicating professionally with

Qualifications

• Master’s- and/or doctorate-level nursing degree.
• 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience.
• Flexibility to teach clinicals; labs/didactic courses preferred.

• Teach and evaluate students in clinical settings;lab/simulation and/or didactic opportunities may be available.
• Create an engaging learning environment that supports academic progression and professional socialization.
• Assess student learning, provide timely feedback, and support remediation of at-risk students.
• Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty on curriculum delivery, student success plans, and program evaluation.
• Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation and comply with FERPA and college policies.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and clinical partners.
• Attend required orientations, faculty meetings, and clinical site briefings.
• Coach students on leadership, ethics, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Connect students with campus resources to support success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do:

Nursing Adjunct Faculty support student achievement of course objectives while modeling Arizona College of Nursing’s values of Passion, Adaptability, Accountability, Integrity, and Excellence.

What We Need From You:

• Master’s-and/or doctorate-level nursing degree
• 3+ years of recent direct RN-level patient care experience
• Flexibility to teach clinicals required; flexibility to teach labs and/or didactic courses in other areas of the nursing curriculum is strongly preferred.
