Job summary

UNM-Los Alamos invites applications for temporary part-time faculty to teach online and/or face-to-face Music courses at the 1000 or 2000 level. This is a continuing recruitment for Summer 2026, contingent on enrollment and course offerings.

Anticipated openings include Music Appreciation and Fundamentals of Piano for Non-Majors. Instructors manage all class activities including content delivery, assignments, grading, and reporting of student learning as outlined by the Program Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying.
• A master's degree or higher in a discipline other than that for which you are applying, and successful completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying

Responsibilities

• Teach online and/or face-to-face courses at the 1000 or 2000 level.
• Prepare content, assignments, and assessments; deliver classes.
• Grade assignments and report grades to the Program Coordinator as required.
