Job summary

Montgomery College is seeking an enthusiastic Adjunct/Part-time Faculty member to teach in the Motorcycle Safety Program. The hire will engage students in in-person classes, follow the college curriculum, and maintain records with professionalism and integrity.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of riding experience, and a valid Maryland motorcycle license with a clean record. Telework is possible 0 days per week as needed and employment requires eligibility to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent motorcycle riding experience.
• Must possess a valid MD motorcycle license with a clean riding record.
• Basic motorcycle handling and maintenance knowledge.
• Commitment to inclusion and college strategic plan.

Responsibilities

• Teach Motorcycle Safety Program classes.
• Engage with students in an in-person class environment.
• Adhere to Montgomery College curriculum and course outcomes.
• Manage classroom attendance, evaluate student performance, record grades, and submit records.
• Provide clear and supportive instruction to students of all experience levels.
• Maintain a professional, safe learning environment and comply with policies.
• Maintain regular communication with program staff.
• Attend instructor meetings as needed.
