Job summary

Motlow State Community College in Tennessee invites applications for an Adjunct Medical Laboratory Technician Faculty (Pool). Provide instruction to assigned courses, align with catalog descriptions, and support student learning across campuses.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or higher in a qualifying field and 1–3 years of clinical laboratory experience. Preferred includes a bachelor’s in discipline and 3 years CC teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or higher degree in a qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited institution by the application date and 1-3 years clinical laboratory experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in discipline or a qualifying field or a Bachelor’s degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline by the application date; three years CC teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and approved course syllabus.
• Teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools as assigned; travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Collaborate with faculty, department lead and academic leadership on curricular issues and needs.
• Support curricular and co-curricular activities within the college.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester; maintain availability to meet with students and respond to requests.
