Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Mathematics adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at a teaching location, but the official work station may change each semester.

The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes and will attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials and evaluate student learning.
• Maintain class records and submit required reports on time.
