Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach the Manufacturing Specialist Foundation Course at our Phoenix campus. The role focuses on delivering lectures, guiding discussions, and mentoring students in workplace safety, SOPs, workflow structure, and SPC concepts related to wafer fabrication.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 5-7 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Preferred: PhD or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 3-5 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
