Job summary

Rock Valley College is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach Manufacturing Engineering Technology courses at the Main Campus. You will prepare syllabi, deliver lectures and labs, and ensure alignment with program outcomes.

You will manage LMS (EAGLE), assess student progress, maintain records, provide office hours, and collaborate with department chair and lab manager to keep equipment ready.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology or related field.
• Industry-recognized certifications preferred.
• Background should include knowledge of ASME Y14.5M, CAD and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create instructor syllabus outlining course expectations and policies.
• Teach classes including lecture and lab components.
• Plan content and manage LMS (EAGLE) for assignments and assessments.
• Maintain class schedules and ensure credit hour compliance.
• Instruct students on proper use of lab equipment and safety guidelines.
• Assess and report student learning and grades.
• Maintain student records and office hours for support.
• Collaborate with department chair on assessment and course objectives.
• Coordinate with lab manager to maintain and repair lab equipment.
