Job summary

Tulane University seeks adjunct lecturers to support undergraduate instruction in Health & Wellness (BA) online and Exercise Science (BS) on-ground, as well as graduate instruction in Sport Administration (MS) and Sport Studies (MS) online. Courses are offered in five 8-week terms year-round.

Responsibilities include teaching the listed undergraduate and graduate courses, with preference for candidates possessing 5+ years of related experience, a master's degree in Kinesiology or related field,

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience directly related to the listed course subject areas.
  • Master's degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field is required.
  • A terminal degree is preferred for graduate-level instruction.
  • University-level teaching experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Canvas LMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate Health & Wellness (BA) online and Exercise Science (BS) courses as listed.
  • Teach graduate Sport Administration (MS) and Sport Studies (MS) courses online.
  • Deliver instruction in five 8-week terms throughout the year.

The program anticipates ongoing need for adjunct lecturers to support undergraduate instruction in Health & Wellness (BA) and Exercise Science (BS), as well as graduate instruction in the Sport Administration (MS) and Sport Studies (MS) programs. All graduate courses, as well as undergraduate courses in Health & Wellness are offered in five 8-week terms over the calendar year.
