Job summary

Grand Canyon University’s College of Theology invites applications for an adjunct faculty position on our traditional ground campus in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on teaching Contemporary Apologetics Theory and Practice to undergraduates and graduates, using engaging lectures, discussions, and assessment of student progress.

Qualified candidates hold a Masters in Apologetics or Philosophy (PhD preferred) or an M.Div.

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in apologetics/philosophy or divinity with coursework in apologetics/philosophy
• Minimum 2 years of postsecondary teaching experience in apologetics, philosophy or ethics
• Experience aligning instruction with university Doctrinal/ Ethical statements

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission
