University of North Georgia (UNG) seeks part-time adjunct instructors for interdisciplinary Studies to guide undergraduate students through connections across disciplines and to develop personalized academic plans. The role emphasizes critical thinking, self-reflection, and effective communication, with responsibilities across day, evening, weekend and online instruction.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, experience teaching in various formats, and the ability to engage UNG

Qualifications

Master's degree is required.
Experience teaching online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses at the college or university level.
Ability to engage and support the UNG student population through effective instructional practices.
Experience facilitating interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and student-centered discussions.
Commitment to student success and retention.
Experience working with first-year college students in a teaching, advising, or student support role.
Experience using learning management systems and instructional technologies to support teaching and learning.

Responsabilités

Teach and conduct college courses for undergraduate students.
Prepare and deliver course instructions using instructional materials.
Develop, administer, and grade assignments and assessments.
Submit university required academic records such as roll verification forms and final grades.
Attend meetings as requested.
