Athens Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Welding and Joining Technology. You will teach courses, align with program outcomes, and participate in curriculum development. Nights classes may be required and online teaching experience is preferred.

Applicants should hold welding certificates (SMAW/GMAW/GTAW) and a Diploma in Welding and Joining Technology, with at least one year in the field and credentialing for the courses. Transcripts may be requested.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses as directed by the program chair and align with program outcomes.
  • Administer and grade examinations; maintain accurate student records and submit grades on time.
  • Ensure safety and security standards in training areas and participate in program meetings.
  • Attend trainings, workshops and seminars; contribute to textbook reviews and course materials.
