Wake Technical Community College seeks an adjunct instructor to provide 100% online instruction for 1-2 courses per semester. You will assess student performance, grade consistently, and give constructive feedback to promote growth in an online environment.
Responsibilities include conducting virtual meetings via MS Teams, aligning assessments with rubrics, and supporting program goals. A Bachelor's in SCM and industry experience are required.

Counsels students regarding grades and progress in each course.
Attends meetings scheduled by the Program Director, SCM.
Attends Wake Tech career fairs as requested.,
Demonstrated ability to apply clear grading rubrics and criteria consistently online.
In-depth knowledge of the supply chain industry to evaluate online content accuracy, critical thinking, and application of concepts.
Skilled in proofreading, grammar, punctuation, and spelling correction applying appropriate tone and clarity for constructive feedback in online written assignments.
Ability to evaluate referencing and sourcing against MLA standards for citations in online writing assignments.
Understanding of academic integrity policies and plagiarism detection tools (e.g., SafeAssign).
Computer skills using basic functions of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook, and proficiency in MS Excel spreadsheet and calculation skills.
Ability to complete EPIC training.
Knowledge of and facility with technology and software including, computers, and web-based resources such as Blackboard/Canvas and MS Teams.
Ability to learn ERP systems such as SAP.
Ability to perform normal duties with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain records accurately and be able to meet deadlines consistently.
Demonstrates resourcefulness, initiative, enthusiasm, and a sincere interest in helping students reach their maximum potential.
Ability to attend on site meetings and events regularly as required.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or related business field
5 years industry experience as a Supply Chain Manager in Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics, or Distribution
2 years experience in instructing and evaluating students with at least 1 year instructing and evaluating online writing assignments
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field with a minimum of 9 credit hours in Supply Chain Management coursework
5+ years of industry experience in the Supply Chain Management field
Community College or college level teaching experience
