Adjunct Instructor/Supervisor, UMKC Institute for Urban Education, School of Education - Continuous Posting
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
At least five years of successful PK-12 public school experience as a classroom teacher or equivalent in an urban setting.
Current or prior teacher certification in the United States.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and access to transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
5 or more years teaching experience in Kansas City urban schools.
1 or more years of experience mentoring pre-service and/or beginning teachers.
1 or more years of experience with adult learning and/or demonstrated teacher leadership.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management.
Bilingual preferred, but not required (English/Spanish).
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
