  • Experience teaching social work is preferred.

Adjunct Instructor – Social Work

Part‑time adjunct instructor on a per semester basis at Texas A&M University – Texarkana, CNHHS – Human Services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teach social work courses in modalities such as face‑to‑face, web‑enhanced, hybrid, or online.
  • Deliver courses in 5, 8, 10, or 16‑week terms depending on the semester.
  • Coordinate course administrative duties: grading, loading content into Canvas, assessments, lecture modules, student meetings, timely submission of grades, census and grade deadlines, and other related tasks.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE‑accredited institution for undergraduate courses; doctoral or master’s degree for graduate courses.
  • Degree and coursework from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Experience teaching social work is preferred.
Compensation

$2,400 per undergraduate section taught with a master’s degree; $3,100 per undergraduate section taught with a Ph.D.; $3,600 per graduate level section taught.
