Job summary

Keene State College invites applications for adjunct instructors in the Safety and Occupational Health Applied Sciences program. Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate courses in one or more areas of safety and health and are expected to provide engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with program outcomes.

Adjunct faculty will prepare students to become leaders in protecting worker health and well-being across industries.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional, applied safety experience outside academia.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience including course planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses and develop curriculum content focused on Safety Sciences and applied learning.
• Design, deliver, and assess courses integrating real-world industry practices, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Create instructional materials and experiential learning activities aligned with learning outcomes and accreditation standards.
• We need instructors in all Safety and Construction Safety Courses
• Provide student support through regular office hours and mentoring.
