Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a closely related field.
• 1 year of collegiate teaching experience OR 5 years of training experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Occupational Safety and Health with hands-on safety practice.
• BCSP CSP or CIH designation or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Evidence of service that aligns with SOHAS Department Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and potential graduate courses in classroom, lab, and partially online formats.
• Develop curriculum and manage laboratories; advise students; perform college service.
• Maintain professional development and participate in program/department/college service.
• Mentor a diverse student body including first-generation students; promote critical thinking and civic engagement.
