Northcentral Technical College is seeking adjunct instructors to deliver course content on a per‑course basis. Instructors will create performance‑based learning experiences aligned with course objectives, assess student progress, and provide timely feedback.

Positions may include day, evening, and weekend classes; teaching hours vary by semester. Applicants should be prepared to maintain safety, manage classrooms and use learning technologies like Canvas and Teams to support student success.

• Use course text, outlines, syllabi, and other curriculum materials in accordance with college and department guidelines.
• Utilize learning technology for teaching, delivery of course content, learning, assessment, online/distance learning, and student record keeping (e.g., Canvas, Starfish, Cengage, Teams).
• Communicate, respond to questions, and provide consistent and timely feedback to students about successful course completion; actively

Job Description & Qualifications

The instructor is primarily responsible for creating a performance‑based learning and teaching environment for students in accordance with the educational objectives of the College.

Adjunct Application Information

Adjunct positions in this area include but are not limited to: Criminal Justice, CPR (days), Emergency Medical Service, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire, Motorcycle Safety, Paramedic. Part‑time instructors are hired on a per‑course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment the following semester. The teaching hours for a part‑time instructor vary and can include day, evening, and weekend classes. Adjunct faculty can teach a maximum of 12 student contact hours per week averaged over the semester. This posting will close on December 31, 2025.
