Lansing Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach courses in Psychology. Candidates will collaborate on course content and deliver instruction to students, with a preference for in-person teaching. A Master's degree in Psychology or related coursework is required.
Successful applicants will demonstrate teaching abilities and engage in professional development. A criminal background check will be conducted for final candidates. This position requires residency in Michigan.
Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach courses in Psychology on a semester basis. Teaching assignments may be on campus, at an extension center within 40 miles of the downtown campus, or via online delivery methods. In-person teaching is preferred.
Regular on-campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
LCC policy requires all employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work within the State of Michigan.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology from an accredited college or university, or at least 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) of graduate-level coursework in the discipline.
Applicants must provide unofficial copies of transcripts from each institution of higher learning where a degree has been conferred or coursework completed as part of the online application process.

PhD in Psychology from an accredited college or university, or at least 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) of graduate-level coursework in the discipline.
Previous college or secondary teaching experience, particularly fully responsible college-level teaching experience.
Previous experience in presentation, group facilitation, or training in an academic, professional, or community setting.
