Job summary

Wake Technical Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach Plumbing in Workforce Continuing Education Services. Openings may not exist now, but qualified applicants may be contacted to join the pool.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, preparing lessons, designing curricula, grading, and advising students. Strong bilingual communication and technology familiarity are required. Teaching experience and NC plumbing credentials are preferred.

• Attends professional development opportunities when possible
• Maintains communication with instructors from other divisions in order to keep courses up to date and appropriate

Position Description

Wake Technical Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part‑time faculty to teach courses in Workforce Continuing Education Services for Plumbing classes. Openings for these positions may not exist at the present time. However, upon review of your qualifications, you may be contacted directly by the department as needed. Part‑time (adjunct) faculty positions provide quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part‑time, temporary basis.

Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)

Requirements:

High School Diploma

Two years of work experience as a Plumber and/or teaching experience

Preferences:

NC Plumbing License

National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Craft Intructor Certification in Plumbing
