City Colleges of Chicago invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Physical Science at Olive-Harvey College. The course covers introduction to the scientific method, astronomy, geology, oceanography, and meteorology, with emphasis on inquiry and student engagement.
The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Physical Science (or equivalent) and strong communication skills; prior experience working with a diverse student body and commitment to open access education is preferred.

Olive-Harvey College is currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Physical Science (Introduction to the scientific method, astronomy, geology, oceanography, and meteorology) during the fall 2020 semester. The salary range is the following per contact hour based on education: Master's - $800, Master's +30 - $837, Doctorate/Terminal (including MFA) - $943. Offered salary will be determined by the respective collective bargaining agreement and applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
