Malcolm X College is currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Phlebotomy. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the classroom by developing and using effective teaching strategies that meet students’ diverse needs and engage the students in critical thinking and problem‑solving. They will also have a passion for teaching and learning along with a strong commitment to the missions and ideals of the community college.
The goal of the Phlebotomy Program is to graduate competent and ethical phlebotomists with the knowledge and the skills for career entry in the laboratory profession. It is also the department’s mission to support the MXC mission by offering quality phlebotomy courses designed to prepare students to demonstrate the skills and behaviors compatible with those of professional phlebotomists.
