Volunteer State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Ophthalmic Technician Program to provide high-quality instruction across various formats. This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies.
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Ophthalmic Technology. Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution. Must have certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COT or COMT) by the Joint Commission of Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (active standing). Minimum of two (2) years work experience as an ophthalmic technician.
Collegiate level teaching experience.
$675 - $800 per credit hour
