The English Department at Colorado State University is seeking an instructor with graduate-level credentials to teach College Composition and related English courses. The teaching load ranges from 1-4 sections per semester, with responsibilities including lectures, assignments, office hours, and grading.

Job Description Position Summary: The English Department at CSU is a vibrant and diverse place. It is home to poets and linguists, literacy researchers and teacher educators, novelists and literary scholars, composition specialists and writers of creative nonfiction. We share a passion for exploring the multiple and dynamic ways that the English language is used to meet the demands of life in the twenty-first century. The teaching load for instructors is 1-4 sections each semester. Typically, instructors will teach College Composition, and a range of other composition and lower-division English classes.
Salary Range: $46,000 - $48,000
Conditions of Employment: Preemployment criminal background check (required for new hires). Supervision: This position will not supervise.
