Department of Public Policy & Management

The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is seeking a professional with expertise and a primary position in Public and Nonprofit Organizational Behavior. The successful candidate should possess a doctorate in Nonprofit Management, Leadership, or Public Administration. They should be able to teach a master's-level course in areas such as behavior in organizations, focusing on personal, interpersonal, and group factors influencing behavior.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent evaluations.

The course, PPD 545: Public and Nonprofit Organizational Behavior, explores human behavior within organizational contexts, offering an advanced introduction to organizational studies from a management perspective. It aims to introduce key concepts, theories, and models of organizational behavior and develop students' management and leadership skills. This iteration of the course is fully online.

Responsibilities include delivering course content, scheduling office hours, being accessible to students, grading, and providing a syllabus outlining course goals, schedule, and requirements under the Department Chair's guidance.

The hourly rate ranges from $29.06 to $38.89. When extending an offer, USC considers factors such as responsibilities, experience, education, skills, internal equity, legal considerations, funding, and market conditions.
