Marquette University is seeking an Adjunct Instructor of German to teach one section of German 3500: The Modern German Short Story. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30-4:45, with assessment and student support throughout the term.
The successful candidate will collaborate with other German faculty and assume full course responsibility, including prep up from a provided draft and grading exams and papers. A minimum of one office hour per course each week is required.

Duties and Responsibilities: Attend to students' needs and provide regular course assessment. Be available to work together with the other German faculty members. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the course, including course preparation from a draft that will be provided; grading exams and papers. Must maintain a minimum of 1 office hour per course each week.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Masters Degree Preferred Or substantial progress toward the terminal degree. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proof of teaching or work experience. Masters degree or substantial progress toward the terminal degree in German or related fields.
